BOOTCAMP SHANGHAI the outdoor division of ETERNITY FITNESS is Shanghai’s original Boot Camp Program and the first in China. Up until a few years ago programmed outdoor fitness activity was unheard of. Only the local elderly people could be seen walking backwards in the park and flying kites. Eternity Fitness introduces a new form of programmed exercise that has limitless boundaries and totally FUN! Some people call real fitness waving hands in the air or slapping shoulders.. we think NOT!
As featured on ICS reality TV show Shanghai Rush and now in the first Body Transformation Competition “Fit for Eternity” ..Bootcamp is taking Shanghai by storm! This relatively new style of “mixed training” incorporates military fitness along with various disciplines of martial arts and aerobics to create a total adrenalin pumping workout suitable for all levels. It will give you results you cannot find just running on a treadmill. Don’t worry its not like real army, there’s no yelling in your face or humility involved, unless you want us to! What we can guarantee is it will GET YOU IN SHAPE and it will be FUN!
WHAT IS BOOT CAMP?
ETERNITY transforms Shanghai’s outdoor areas into the ultimate workout space.
It’s a fun, motivating, highly exhilarating military style outdoor training program designed to challenge all aspects of your health and fitness, physically and mentally. The 4-6 weeks intense training sessions will guarantee you serious results.
During each session you will perform activities including:
Squad Runs, Stair Climbs, Track and Hill Training. Cardiovascular, speed and endurance, partner resistance, strength training with various exercises using dumbbells, barbells, towels, ropes and daily items limited only by creativity!. Working out will never be the same with fitness games, relays, group challenges, kick-boxing, ball drills, plyometrics, box drills, obstacle courses, and over 20 versions of the standard push-up and sit up! Functional bodyweight strength and cardio sessions with a strong focus on correct exercise execution. Coordination, endurance, power and flexibility are all challenged-motivation and support comes from a team spirit of camaraderie… and most of all THE MOST FUN YOU’LL EVER HAVE GETTING FIT!
WHO IS BOOTCAMP FOR?
Anybody wishing to improve their fitness levels and try a new style of exercise outside the average gym experience. Suitable for beginners and experienced players. We also have a special program for kids! A Creative and fun way to get fit! Currently our sessions are made up of mixed women and men both working professional, house wives and students. We also have sportsman and gym goers looking for new ways of cross training and people bored of normal gym training. Predominantly more internationals and half-pats though local Chinese are getting into it now too! Some people prefer the space and open style of outdoor training as opposed to a crammed health club. DO I NEED TO BE FIT TO DO BOOT CAMP?
Of course not, that's why you are coming to us! Prior to course commencement each participant will attend an induction and preliminary screening which will determine current fitness levels and body measurements allowing us to cater for, and if needed place each recruit into a team depending on his/her individual fitness level. Classes are mixed male and female with teams of similar specifications. Players can go at their own pace or push themselves to the maximum!SAFETY FIRST
Safety is a priority and we take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and to maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise.WHAT SORT OF RESULTS CAN I GET?
The physical benefits from Boot Camp include increased fitness (cardio) levels, reduced body fat and increased muscle tone. The results gained however are not only physical as many recruits also report that they sleep better, have more energy and in some cases feel more confidence and motivation in all other areas of their lives to achieving a healthier life style.
I ALREADY GO TO GYM WHY DO I NEED BOOTCAMP?
The body will adapt to even the most strenuous workouts after a short period of time, which explains why some people complain about going to the gym regularly yet not seeing any results. BootCamp workouts are designed to prevent the plateau by constantly challenging the body in unexpected ways while taking advantage of everything the outdoors has to offer. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO YOUR BOOT CAMP SESSIONS?
We supply all the equipment for each session. Comfortable sportswear with sneakers is all you’ll need. Bring a bottle of water or sports drink to keep yourself hydrated. The instructor will have a back pack to store any small items such as keys phones etc.WHERE ARE BOOT CAMP COURSES BEING HELD?
