Giving New Hope Auction & Charity Cocktail Event A Huge Success
Nov 2, 2009 - Last Thursday, over 250 supporters, volunteers and members of Overseas Chinese Network turned out to support the Burn Trauma Program’s Giving New Hope Auction & Charity Cocktail. Thanks to everyone’s generosity more than RMB140,000 was raised for Chen Chao and children awaiting reconstructive surgery in the Burn Trauma Program. It was a beautiful evening filled with music, good wine and panoramic view at Sin Lounge. The highlight of the evening was the auction boating dream items which includes fine wines from NAPA Valley, limited edition of designer’s items, original paintings, decorative items and premium skin care range. The event would not have been the success it was without our sponsors: Swiss Premium Resourses sponsored premium beauty product gift items, Antalis (Shanghai) Trading donated high quality paper products, Three on the Bund and Evian Spa donated spa and restaurant vouchers, Rutherford Bench China part sponsored the fine wines, PICJOY part-sponsored of printing items, Ren Ai Hospital sponsored health checks program and cash donations, For Beloved One donated beauty products, Eternity VIP Fitness donated boot camp and gym training courses, Council for the Support of the Ceramics Arts donated a ceramic ware by Huang Yu-Ying, SNAP Graphics donated 5 World Expo Tickets.
